Minister's Message
It’s good to be back!
Many thanks to the Outreach Team for organizing such a joyful Camp Sunday service and to Luis and special guests for sharing such inspiring music—I look forward to hearing more about this as the week unfolds.
This Sunday, we will celebrate the sacrament of baptism during the 10:30 AM service. Later in the day, at 4:00 PM, we gather for a Centennial Celebration Concert marking the 100th Anniversary of the United Church of Canada. This special event takes place at Central United Church in Welland and features choirs and ensembles from United Churches across the Niagara Peninsula, including Trillium and a mass choir. So “grateful for God’s loving action, we cannot keep from singing (Song of Faith 2006). All are invited to share in this afternoon of music and fellowship (yes there is plenty of parking).
This week is National Volunteer Week 2025, and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the many ways the people of Trillium give of themselves. Whether you're serving coffee after worship, weeding the raised beds, participating in committee work, shaping gatherings and events, leading prayers, reading scripture or singing our faith (etc)—you are making a difference.
Thank you for all that you are and all that you do. I am both overwhelmed and humbled by the way you live God’s love and share it so generously in this community and beyond.
Peace be with you,
Rev. Barb

Trillium United Church is located conveniently in the north-end of St. Catharines. Originally Grantham United Church, then First United Church, the church amalgamated with Mountainview United and created what is now trillium United Church.
Trillium strives to be a spirituality centre in St. Catharines with open doors for those seeking family, compassion, joyful fellowship and acceptance, and offering outreach, service and a safe space to those in need.
We are a community that lives God's love as a diverse spiritual family, open and welcoming to all.
Come and meet us, we would like to meet you.

What can I expect to see?
While we offer a traditional order of service, our worship is warm, eclectic, inclusive, and relatable. The message is relevant, contemporary, and scripture-based.
Is there anything I should know?
The only thing you need to know is you are welcome to join us for any service. If you are still questioning, join us for coffee after service at 11:30. People will recognize you are new and will be more than happy to make you feel at home!
