Minister's Message
Networks and Clusters: opportunities to grow and connect
You may have heard some new language in the United Church lately — networks and clusters. These are ways the wider church is supporting connection, shared learning, and collaboration.
At Trillium, you may already have seen this in action. People participate in technology networks, stewardship and treasurers’ workshops, property networks, and online faith formation.
Being part of a team or ministry group can offer opportunities for growth, connection, and deepening faith. These opportunities let us learn alongside others, share practical wisdom, and support one another in ministry.
Many of these opportunities are offered through ChurchX, the United Church’s learning platform. ChurchX includes workshops, online faith formation, practical handbooks for committees, and ways to share local learning and justice initiatives with other churches.
Together, these networks and resources offer exciting ways to grow in faith, strengthen leadership and co-leadership, deepen spirituality, and journey alongside one another across the country, building connection and solidarity.

Coming soon: At the end of February, the regional United Church is facilitating a conversation on dementia (see later in this e-news for details).
Trillium United Church is located conveniently in the north-end of St. Catharines. Originally Grantham United Church, then First United Church, the church amalgamated with Mountainview United and created what is now trillium United Church.
Trillium strives to be a spirituality centre in St. Catharines with open doors for those seeking family, compassion, joyful fellowship and acceptance, and offering outreach, service and a safe space to those in need.
We are a community that lives God's love as a diverse spiritual family, open and welcoming to all.
Come and meet us, we would like to meet you.
